Job summary

Bouygues Construction Australia is seeking a Cost Controller to analyse process constraints, support target costing, and trace costs to activities. You will provide costing information to management through cost allocations, follow-ups and reporting, with invoicing across projects as a core element of the role.

You will engage in cost planning, forecasting, and monitoring, ensuring milestones align with contract scope and sales estimates. This position is hybrid in Adelaide, Australia.

Qualifications

• Degree in Management/Accounting & Finance.
• Experience in a Cost Control/Finance officer role.
• Experience in a high-profile global Construction/Civil Engineering company.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for controls activities including the measures of cost, time and scope of the project in accordance with the contract.
• Cost planning, forecasting and monitoring cost estimations.
• Tracking milestones and ensuring project targets are realized.
• Validate scope documents with contract scope/sales estimates.
• Prepare cost estimates and update online costs forecasts.
• Minimise deviation through rigorous cost control and forecasting.
• Close control of subcontracts/supplier accounts costs.
• Periodic financial statements about project progress
• Regular reporting of risk/opportunities and potential deviations.
