Job summary

Mode Plastic Surgery is inviting an experienced Cosmetic Nurse Injector to join Mode Aesthetics on a part-time or casual basis, initially 1–2 days per week at North Shore. You will deliver non-surgical aesthetic treatments and contribute to developing Mode Aesthetics.

The role requires CN experience with anti-wrinkle and dermal fillers, a solid understanding of facial anatomy, and a patient-centred approach to create natural, balanced outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• 2–3 years nursing experience with cosmetic injecting preferred.
• Experience with anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers.
• Strong understanding of facial anatomy and aesthetics planning.
• Ability to work independently within your training and scope.

Mode Plastic Surgery is a boutique specialist plastic surgery practice led by Dr Shagun Aggarwal, providing a comprehensive range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures in a personalised, patient-focused environment.

As we expand our non-surgical offering through Mode Aesthetics, we are seeking an experienced and confident Cosmetic Nurse Injector on a part-time or casual basis, initially 1–2 days per week, with the potential to increase hours as the business develops. We are looking for more than technical injecting skills. We want someone with an exceptional aesthetic eye, a strong understanding of facial anatomy and the ability to assess each patient's features, proportions and individual needs to develop thoughtful, personalised treatment plans.

The Role

Working alongside our existing clinical and aesthetic team, you will deliver high-quality non-surgical aesthetic and skin treatments while contributing to the ongoing development of Mode Aesthetics.

Your responsibilities will include:

Cosmetic Injectables & Aesthetic Treatments

• Anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers


• Biostimulators, bio-remodellers, skin boosters and Rejuran


• PDO threads and PRP, where within your established scope of practice


• Laser and other skin treatments, depending on experience and competency

Consultation & Patient Care

• Conducting comprehensive facial assessments and consultations


• Developing individualised treatment plans that prioritise facial harmony and natural-looking outcomes


• Providing clear patient education, informed consent, pre- and post-treatment care and appropriate follow-up


• Conducting treatment reviews and maintaining ongoing patient relationships


• Recommending appropriate cosmeceutical skincare and supporting long-term skin health

Clinical Excellence & Practice Growth

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and meeting applicable clinical, regulatory and compliance requirements


• Building strong patient relationships and supporting patient retention through excellent care


• Collaborating with the wider team to deliver a seamless, premium patient experience


• Contributing to appropriate marketing and social media initiatives


• Supporting the sustainable growth of the aesthetics business through ethical, clinically appropriate treatment recommendations

About You

You are an experienced cosmetic injector who combines technical confidence with an exceptional eye for facial aesthetics.

You understand that beautiful results require more than knowing where to inject. They require careful assessment, an understanding of facial proportions, sound clinical judgement and the ability to establish rapport with a patient to they partake in the treatment plan suggested.

Ideally, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse


• At least 2–3 years of nursing experience, ideally including substantial cosmetic injecting experience


• Demonstrable experience in anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers


• Confidence working independently within your training, competence and professional scope


• A strong understanding of facial anatomy, facial assessment and aesthetic treatment planning


• An appreciation for facial balance, proportion and natural-looking outcomes


• Experience with additional aesthetic modalities, such as biostimulators, skin boosters, PRP, PDO threads and laser treatments


• Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional approach to patient care


• Strong organisational skills, initiative and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively


• A genuine interest in developing long-term patient relationships and contributing to the growth of a premium aesthetics practice

Experience working within a specialist medical, surgical or plastic surgery environment would be highly regarded.

Please note: This position is suited to an established injector who can confidently undertake consultations and treatments independently. Foundational cosmetic injecting training will not be provided and therefore candidates without suitable experience will not be considered.
