Job summary

Our client, a sophisticated investor-backed infrastructure platform, seeks individuals with strong regulatory knowledge drawn from economics or broader infrastructure advisory to add strategic commercial advice to a multi-billion-dollar investment program.

You will help develop a comprehensive regulatory strategy that will drive strategic investments and large-scale projects, including modelling, revenue analyses, and support for investment decisions.

Qualifications

Our client is a sophisticated investor-backed infrastructure platform with a multi-billion-dollar investment program. Looking to expand their team, they are seeking individuals with strong regulatory knowledge from a background in economics or broader infrastructure advisory to add strategic commercial advice to our client’s vast investment program.

You will be directly involved in the development of a comprehensive regulatory strategy that will drive strategic investments and large-scale projects resulting in superior value, performance and returns.

Some of your key activities will include:

• Undertake extensive modelling and analysis to support regulatory and investment decisions and support critical internal recommendations
• Preparation, analysis and delivery of revenue proposals and models to ensure alignment with ongoing understanding of the revenue drivers
• Support broader corporate finance activities including financial analysis in support of investment decision making

You’ll likely come from a background in economics, infrastructure advisory, a Network Service Provider (NSP), a utilities regulator, or a regulated business. We are considering candidates at various levels starting at ~2+ years.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks around utilities such as water or energy
• Strong financial or economics modelling and analysis
• Proactive approach to influencing strategy and decision making
