Hobsons Bay City Council is seeking a Coordinator Property & Leasing to lead the Strategic Property team, delivering strategic and commercial outcomes across the Council's property portfolio.

You will provide expert leasing and licensing leadership, oversee governance, and drive performance across a diverse portfolio, ensuring accountability and strong financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Property or related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to build and motivate teams.
• Extensive experience in property leasing and licensing, ideally within local government.
• Strong knowledge of local government leasing requirements, Crown land management and the Retail Leases Act 2003.
• Experience managing budgets, financial processes and commercial outcomes.
• Flexibility to fulfil requirements outside standard business hours, including attendance at Council, committee, stakeholder & community meetings.

The opportunity

The Coordinator Property & Leasing plays a key leadership rolewithin the Strategic Property team, providing strategic,technical and people leadership across Council's propertyleasing and licensing functions.
