The City of Kwinana is seeking an experienced Coordinator Project Delivery to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of our capital works program.

You will report to the Manager Engineering Services, lead a team of three, and oversee projects from planning through to procurement, construction and completion. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery to ensure quality and safety across infrastructure, buildings and public spaces.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering infrastructure projects in local government or similar environments.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams to successful outcomes.
• Experience overseeing capital works programs in local government or infrastructure settings.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including planning, procurement, contract management, and delivery.
• Ability to align delivery with strategic planning, asset management, governance, risk and compliance.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills with stakeholders and Council.

What’s On Offer

The City of Kwinana is seeking an experienced and results-driven Coordinator Project Delivery to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of our capital works program.

Reporting to the Manager Engineering Services, you will lead a team of three and provide strategic leadership across the City's capital works delivery program, encompassing civil infrastructure, buildings and public spaces. The successful incumbent will oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to procurement, construction and completion.

Combining strategic oversight with hands-on project delivery, you'll play an important role in ensuring the City's infrastructure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What You'll Need

You will be an experienced infrastructure project delivery professional who combines strong technical expertise with sound commercial judgement, strategic thinking and proven leadership capability.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in delivering infrastructure projects within a local government or comparable environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Proven experience overseeing and delivering capital works programs in a local government or infrastructure setting.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including planning, procurement, contract management, and project delivery.
• Proven ability to align project delivery with strategic planning and asset management objectives, with a sound understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Highly developed communication, reporting, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, senior management, and Council.
