Job summary

Scope’s Coordinator – Supported Independent Living in Croydon, VIC, is a permanent full-time leadership role guiding a SIL home to deliver person-centred supports and quality outcomes. You’ll lead on-site staff, oversee daily operations, budgets, and NDIS alignment while building strong relationships with participants, families and stakeholders.

We’re seeking an experienced disability leader to step into a Coordinator role, leading a Supported Independent Living home where choice, independence and quality outcomes come first.

About The Role
  • Location: Croydon
  • Employment Type: Permanent Full-time

Reporting to the Accommodation Services Manager, you’ll provide strong, hands‑on leadership within a SIL setting. You’ll guide and develop staff, oversee day‑to‑day operations and budgets, apply your NDIS expertise, and work closely with participants to ensure supports are person‑centred and outcomes‑focused.

This is a key leadership role where your experience will directly influence team culture, service quality, and continuous improvement.

About You

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in disability services or similar frontline, community-based settings
  • Calm, organised and able to make sound decisions in fast‑paced or high‑pressure situations
  • Proactive and accountable, with the ability to identify issues early and implement practical solutions

As a Coordinator within one of our services, you will work alongside a team of on‑site and off‑site specialists with one shared goal — to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.

  • Valid Driver Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Valid Australian working rights
  • International Police Check (if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one year in the last ten years)
