Local Workforce Hire is seeking General Labourers and Casual Trade Assistants to join our roster on a casual basis on the Gold Coast region. Immediate starts with weekly pay and real opportunities for ongoing work with reputable employers including site safety and PPE requirements.

Earn from $35.11 per hour with typical weekly earnings around $1,400+ and 11.5% superannuation. A driver licence and transport are highly preferred for on-site roles.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card

• Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Safety glasses
• High-visibility clothing
