Job summary

RFBI Lakemba Masonic Village is seeking an experienced Cook to join our catering team. You will assist the head chef in meal preparation, set up dining areas and serve meals with a friendly, homely service for residents.

Key responsibilities include ensuring food safety compliance, maintaining a clean workspace, preparing meals to health standards and assisting with special functions. A current police check is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Safe Food Handling
• Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
• Working knowledge of Food Safety principles
• Knowledge of special dietary needs for the elderly
• Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles

Responsibilities

Job description

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our passionate catering team at RFBI Lakemba Masonic Village. Within this role your key focus will be to ensure the delivery of a high-quality food service to our residents. You will assist the head chef in the preparation of meals, setting the dining area and serving meals for our residents, offering a friendly service and creating a homely environment.
