Job summary

SA Health in Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, Orroroo, is seeking a flexible part‑time Cook to provide nutritious meals and a positive dining experience for clients.

Working with the Catering and Utilities Team Leader and a multidisciplinary team, you will prepare, cook, plate and distribute meals, cater for dietary needs, order supplies, manage stock, operate kitchen equipment and maintain food safety standards.

• Support kitchen coordination and care teams

About You

We’re looking for a flexible, team-focused Cook with:

• Bulk meal preparation and dietary catering experience
• Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Initiative, flexibility and ability to meet deadlines
• Sound judgement, discretion and ability to work independently

• DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
• National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
• Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category C
