Based in Innaloo, WA 6018, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen setting, preparing quality meals and maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Ensuring all food is prepared in a hygienic and timely manner to meet customer expectations
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and health regulations
• Following portion control guidelines and plating standards to ensure consistency across all dishes
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service
• Monitoring stock levels and communicating with management regarding ingredient requirementsOperating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens and other cooking appliances
• Responding to special dietary requirements and requests from customers where possible
• Contributing to the overall efficiency and positive atmosphere of the kitchen team

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a busy kitchen environment, preferably in hospitality or food service
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and kitchen safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of food quality
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food hygiene and presentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take direction from senior kitchen staff
• Physical fitness and stamina to manage the demands of a fast-paced kitchen
• Flexibility to work casual shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Food Safety certification or willingness to obtain it
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous
