Job summary

Guzman y Gomez in Australia is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare fresh and delicious food using vibrant Mexican flavours and fresh ingredients across breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts.

Experience helps but is not essential; we value a can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and reliability. We offer flexible work hours, free meals, uniform, culinary training and opportunities to celebrate Mexican culture together as a team.

Job Description

The Cook is at the heart of the restaurant operations. You will be preparing fresh and delicious food, problem solving and weighing-in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavours. You’ll have the opportunity to utilise fresh ingredients to produce high standard products for our new and regular guests.

Experience is helpful, but it’s not everything. What we mean is:

• Kitchen experience is great but not essential
• Is open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
• ‘Can do’ attitude and can be relied upon
