  • Salary up to $130,000 + super - Dependant on experience

Opportunity

Incredible opportunity for a motivated and passionate Paralegal/Conveyancer to join a growing property team. This role offers a great opportunity to work on a variety of property-related matters.

*This role can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide.

Responsibilties:

Conveyancing:
  • Assisting with all aspects of the conveyancing process
  • Managing end to end property transactions including leased investment and owner-occupied properties
  • Attending to settlements in person or electronically
  • General document drafting i.e. caveat, encumbrance, lease assignment, etc.
Paralegal:
  • Preparing (and varying) trust deeds and constitutions
  • Assisting with entity establishment and stamping trust deeds
  • Performing adhoc searches (property, PPSR, ASIC, solvency)
  • Attending to PPSR registrations, discharges and releases
  • Assisting with updates to the ASIC register
  • Preparation and lodgement of ASIC forms
  • Preparation of ancillary documents (minutes, resolutions) and Docusign administration.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Paralegal/Conveyancer with exposure to a property legal team.
  • Advanced operating knowledge of PEXA
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing processes and legal requirements (you don’t need to be a qualified Conveyancer)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team (you will be mentored by a leading Conveyancer).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Candidates from legal or combined conveyancing/legal backgrounds are preferred.
