Job summary

Auto & General Australia is seeking a Conversational AI Technical Specialist to design, develop, integrate, and maintain scalable AI solutions within our Genesys Cloud environment and other platforms. You will translate conversational designs into robust technical implementations powering Agentic AI capabilities across internal systems.

Role requires hands-on experience in building and deploying AI models, API integrations, and collaborating with IT and Data teams to ensure secure, scalable data

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a software development or technical specialist role, with significant focus on AI, machine learning, or NLP.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying Conversational AI solutions (e.g., chatbots, voicebots, intelligent virtual assistants).
• Experience with enterprise contact centre platforms, particularly Genesys Cloud, is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Customer/Third Party Conversational AI models.
• Integrate Conversational AI solutions with A&G's Genesys Cloud platform, CRM, Datalakes, knowledge bases, and other internal systems via APIs.
• Contribute to the technical architecture of Conversational AI solutions, ensuring they are scalable, performant, secure, and maintainable.
• Work with internal roles to prepare, train, and fine-tune AI models; monitor performance and retrain as needed.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the Conversational AI systems and identify opportunities for optimization.
