Job summary

Queensland Health in Ipswich City, Queensland seeks a Senior Network Engineer to provide expert converged network guidance and end-to-end design for enterprise systems. You will lead second-level support, document the converged network, and produce performance reports for the Digital Partnership Team.

The role requires ITIL-based planning and hands-on testing, installation and commissioning of network infrastructure and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Provide advanced technical expertise in converged networks to determine direction, standardisation and support of enterprise infrastructure.
• Lead 2nd level support resolution and advise on alternative actions.
• Document and maintain the converged network infrastructure within the Digital Partnership Team.
• Monitor and prepare reports on operational performance of the enterprise infrastructure.
• Contribute to change, problem, capacity, incident, risk and continuity planning using ITIL framework.
• Manage testing, installation and commissioning of network infrastructure, applications and monitoring tools.

What you'll doProvide high level technical knowledge advice and skills in both the analysis of converged network systems and the design and management of complex system integrations.
