Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Controls Engineer to support deployment, servicing and operation of data centre automation systems within AWS infrastructure, delivering BMS and EPMS across projects to ensure health and reliability of data centres.

You will work independently, prioritise competing demands and collaborate with construction, commissioning, operations, engineering and vendor teams in a fast-paced environments. Australian citizenship and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Experience working in critical infrastructure, industrial automation or data centre environments highly regarded.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation, drawings and specifications desirable.
• Experience collaborating across technical and operational teams.

Working within the Controls Deployment & Service (CDS) team, you will help deliver and support Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) that ensure the health, reliability and performance of AWS data centres. This role requires the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and collaborate across multiple teams in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

The role
