Job summary

Dyno Nobel Limited is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join our Engineering & Reliability team at Helidon, Queensland. This role supports reliable manufacturing operations through the optimisation, maintenance and continuous improvement of control systems and automation technologies.

You will work with world-class equipment on major automation projects and play a key role in improving asset performance, safety and production outcomes across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automation.
• Experience in manufacturing/automation environments.
• Ability to obtain QLD Explosives Security Clearance (including National Police Check).

Responsibilities

• Develop preventative, predictive and reactive activities to support reliable control systems operation.
• Analyse machine performance and implement system improvements to optimise reliability.
• Support automation, control systems and continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, automation equipment and control systems to minimise downtime and improve performance.
• Ensure all modifications to plant and equipment comply with established Change Management processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and operational teams to improve asset performance and production outcomes.
