Job summary

Certis Australia is seeking experienced Control Room Operators to join our team in North Ryde, NSW. In this fast-paced role, you will monitor CCTV, alarms and access control, coordinate incident responses and maintain accurate incident logs.

You will engage with on-site personnel and clients, work a rotating day/night roster, and uphold security procedures aligned with client requirements. A valid Security Licence Class 1A and 1E, First Aid with CPR, and a police check are required.

Qualifications

• Current Security Licence with Class 1A (Unarmed Guarding) and 1E (Monitoring Centre Operator).
• Current First Aid Certificate (3-year validity) with CPR (1-year validity).
• Ability to clear an Australian Police Check.
• Previous Control Room or Monitoring Centre experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
• Strong computer skills and confidence using security systems.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when managing incidents.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

As a Control Room Operator, you'll be the eyes and ears of site security, monitoring systems, identifying risks, and coordinating responses in real time. Your vigilance, attention to detail, and ability to make sound decisions under pressure will help ensure the safety of people, assets, and operations.

About The Role

We are seeking experienced and professional Control Room Operators to join our team based in North Ryde. Working within a fast-paced control room environment, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV, alarm systems, and access control platforms while coordinating responses to incidents and maintaining accurate records.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Location: North Ryde, NSW

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: SSIA Level 4

Roster Pattern: Rotating roster including day and night shifts

Key Responsibilities
