Help bring Cross River Rail into operation through supporting the management of our Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS) Alliance contract, spanning rail infrastructure, station upgrades, operational systems, network integration, testing, commissioning and operationalisation. Working in CRRDAツs Commercial Delivery team, you will support the management of complex contractual issues, negotiations and coordinate commercial interfaces with our other Alliance and PPP contracts. The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is building a new 10.2km rail line that includes 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD; with four new underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street.
Once complete, it will provide trains with a much-needed alternative rail path through the core of the current SEQ Rail network, unlocking a bottleneck and allowing more trains to run more often across the whole of South East Queensland.
The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is also delivering multiple supporting projects and activities in conjunction with the Department of Transport and Main Roads. These include accessibility rebuilds for eight surface stations, construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast; upgrades for stabling yards; track works and surface rail enhancements; and the introduction of a new ETCS digital signalling system.
Apply your collaborative contracts experience to the infrastructure and systems connecting Cross River Rail with the wider rail network. The Contracts Manager / Administrator - Delivery will focus on our Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS) Alliance contract, a diverse package spanning rail infrastructure, station upgrades, operational systems and network integration.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, Delivery within CRRDA's Commercial Delivery team, you will manage contractual issues, support negotiations and contribute to commercial strategies for the RIS Alliance contract. A key focus will be managing commercial and contractual interfaces with our other Alliance contract and our PPP contract, helping resolve issues that span delivery packages.
Working closely with project teams, contractors and technical specialists, you will investigate issues, assess their commercial implications and develop practical solutions across construction, systems integration, testing and commissioning activities. This offers an opportunity to apply your Alliance or collaborative contracting experience to varied commercial challenges on a major rail project, achieving best for project outcomes while maintaining contractual discipline and sound governance.
This opportunity is offered as a fixed term contract until September 2028 with possible extension.
As we enter a new phase of delivery, our project offers a rare career opportunity for top tier professionals to have played their part on something that is genuinely city shaping and transformative.
