Job summary

ACCIONA Australia is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the commercial and contractual performance on major construction projects. You will manage contract administration, variations, claims and risk while supporting on-time delivery and budget control.

Reporting to the Commercial and Risk Manager, you will review contracts, coordinate with procurement and subcontractors, and build strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field (Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related).
• Significant experience in a Contracts Manager or similar commercial role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects, including procurement, subcontractor management, variations, claims, risk management, and cost control. Working closely with project and client teams, this role ensures contractual obligations are met while supporting the successful delivery of projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our construction team. Reporting to the Commercial and Risk Manager, you will be responsible for managing the commercial, contractual and financial performance of major construction projects, ensuring contractual obligations are met while protecting the company's commercial interests.

You will provide commercial guidance to project teams, manage contract administration activities, identify and mitigate contractual risks, support procurement and subcontract management, and assist in the resolution of commercial issues and disputes.
