Job summary

A contract administration post based in the Welshpool office, reporting to the commercial manager, advising and supporting on commercial issues across several civil infrastructure and engineering projects.

The holder will contribute to upstream and downstream contract management, claims resolution, contract negotiation, risk mitigation and the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, while advising project teams on contractual issues and handling change management.

Qualifications

• Knowledge across construction contract management and administration.
• Experience in project controls and commercial reporting.
• Understanding of subcontract procurement and commercial claims.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support on commercial issues across multiple civil infrastructure and engineering projects.
• Contribute to upstream and downstream contract management, claims resolution, and change management.
• Negotiate contracts, mitigate risk, and procure subcontractors and suppliers.
• Liaise with external stakeholders and prepare formal contractual correspondence.
