Job summary

Randstad in Sydney is assisting a high-profile ASX listed Tier 2 Commercial builder with a pivotal subcontractor packages negotiator role over $5 million AUD. You will work autonomously and with Directors/PMs, negotiating subcontracts and managing financials across commercial, residential or industrial projects.

The candidate brings 4+ years with a reputable Australian headcontractor, a construction management or quantity surveying degree, and proficiency with Jobpac/Procore/CHEOPS.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with a reputable Australian headcontractor on mixed projects over $5M.
• Degree qualified in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
• Strong negotiation, contract review and cost planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Progress claim assistance, variations, and preparation of subcontractor packages.
• Reviewing, negotiating, and finalising subcontracts.
• Administering RFIs.
• Preparing subcontract packages including scopes, procurement and scheduling.
