Job summary

Resourceful Recruitment is seeking a contracts administrator in Brisbane to support civil construction projects. You will work with the commercial and project teams to manage contract administration duties from the ground up.

A quantity surveying background will help you specialise further while you grow within the business. You will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers, maintain contract documentation, and contribute to cost control and commercial processes as you

Qualifications

• Around 4 years of practical experience in quantity surveying or contracts administration.
• Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Strong understanding of contract administration processes in civil construction.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confidence communicating with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and administration of subcontracts and head contracts.
• Review and process progress claims, variations and payment schedules.
• Support cost management and quantity surveying functions on live projects.
• Assist with preparation of scopes of work and subcontractor packages.
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve queries.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and registers.

The Opportunity

Based in Brisbane, you'll support the delivery of a diverse mix of civil construction projects, working closely with the wider commercial and project teams to manage contract administration duties from the ground up. What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with the preparation and administration of subcontracts and head contracts
