Job summary

JCU UniLife in Townsville, Queensland, seeks a Reformer Pilates Instructor on a contractor basis to deliver high-quality, engaging sessions for members. You will lead group and private classes, ensuring safety and motivation.

Provide regressions or progressions as needed, maintain a welcoming studio environment, and support member retention through excellent cueing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Reformer Pilates Certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications current.
• Minimum 1 year teaching group Reformer classes (preferred).
• Current ABN held.
• Strong understanding of anatomy.
• Exceptional cueing skills and clear communication.
• Warm, motivating teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Plan, instruct, and lead safe, energetic Reformer classes.
• Assess client needs and provide regressions/progressions.
• Build welcoming relationships to encourage long-term retention.
• Ensure studio and apparatus are safely set up, clean, and stored.
