Job summary

Frog Recruitment is building a candidate network for upcoming temporary and contract Paralegal opportunities in Sydney, Australia. You will support lawyers with document preparation, research, and file management across leading law firms and in-house teams.

Ideal candidates have Paralegal experience, strong research and communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail. This role offers exposure to diverse legal practice areas and potential for future assignments through the network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Paralegal or similar role in a law firm.
• Strong capability in legal research and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist lawyers with the preparation of legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and summarise findings.
• Draft basic documents, letters, and court forms under supervision.
• Review and organise evidence, briefs, and disclosure materials.
• Open, maintain, and close files in accordance with firm procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date file notes and records.
• Monitor key dates, deadlines, and court timetables.
• Assist with electronic document management and filing.
• Prepare court bundles, affidavits, and briefs.
• File documents via relevant courts and online systems.
• Liaise with courts, barristers, and external parties.
• Assist with settlements, closings, or transactions as required.
• Assist with client onboarding, including ID checks and compliance requirements.
• Provide updates to clients under the direction of lawyers.
