Job summary

Western Power is seeking a Contract Manager to drive performance of complex/high‑value contracts and provide subject matter expert contract guidance. You will ensure contracts align with Western Power’s Contract Management Framework to meet safety, environmental, cost, time, quality and customer satisfaction.

You will develop the Contract Management Plan, review engagement deliverables, monitor contractor plans, verify claims (including variations and EOT), and deliver complete contractor

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Business, Law or Commerce.
• Contract Management Qualification.
• Broad knowledge of contract management and high-value contracts.
• Ability to interpret contract law and legislation.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance of assigned complex/high-value contracts.
• Provide subject matter expert contract advice and guidance.
• Develop the Contract Management Plan to meet contractual requirements.
• Review engagement deliverables (SHE risks, scope, specs, drawings, pricing).
• Ensure receipt and approval of contractor plans and monitor compliance.
• Verify and certify contractor claims, including variations and EOT.
• Complete contractor performance reporting requirements.
