Job summary

TAFE Queensland is seeking a Manager, Contract Administration to lead a small specialist team responsible for the execution and ongoing management of contracts supporting the East Coast region’s strategic and operational objectives.

The role reports to the Director, Customer Experience and is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity based primarily at any campus within the East Coast region, with potential work at other campuses.

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership to align commercial and governance functions.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts.
• Deep knowledge of contract lifecycle, governance, risk and compliance.
• Experience in leading change initiatives and process improvements.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and execution of all contracts, agreements and commercial arrangements to support regional objectives.
• Oversee contract lifecycle management, ensuring performance, compliance and reporting.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and act as contact for contractual enquiries, negotiations, variations and risk.
• Provide strategic, operational and commercial advice on contract management and governance.
• Develop and improve contract management frameworks, systems, templates and tools.
• Build a client-focused, high-performing team culture.
• Contribute to business continuity by reducing reliance on single-point expertise.
• Foster relationships with industry, government, community and partners.
• Research, analyse and report on contract performance and risks.
