Job summary

Bidfood Newcastle is seeking owner-operators for long‑term contract deliveries from Beresfield, handling dry, chilled and frozen goods in temperature‑controlled trucks.

You’ll run independent, scheduled multi‑drops, build relationships with customers and complete company documentation, with commission paid promptly by Bidfood — a trusted national distributor.

This role offers long‑term work, security and the chance to grow your own contracting business within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Refrigerated truck with 6–8 pallet capacity.
• Strong customer service and professional presentation.
• NSW Police Clearance Certificate.

Do you own a refrigerated truck and want steady work you can rely on? Bidfood Newcastle is offering long‑term contract opportunities for owner drivers who want to partner with a reputable national company.

You're the face of our business on the road, building relationships with restaurants, cafés, caterers and institutions every day. This role gives you the independence of running your own vehicle with the security of partnering with Australia's leading foodservice distributor.

About the role

Working from our Beresfield warehouse, you'll handle multi‑drop deliveries of dry, chilled and frozen products in a temperature‑controlled vehicle. You'll be expected to keep to schedules, maintain product integrity and complete company documentation accurately.

This is a hands‑on role with runs that cover Monday to Friday, and another Monday to Saturday. You'll cover your own expenses as a contractor, but enjoy the security of long‑term work, commission paid promptly and the opportunity to expand your business with a trusted national distributor.
