Job summary

Fulton Hogan is recruiting a Contract Administrator for a road infrastructure project in the Rockhampton region of Queensland, delivering with ACCIONA. The position is full-time with the site at Pink Lily and involves owning subcontract packages from award to close-out, with support from the project commercial team.

You will manage correspondence, notices, registers and compliance, and assess progress claims under the BIF Act (Qld).

Qualifications

• Intermediate experience in contracts or commercial administration.
• Experience with roads, bridges or civil infrastructure as principal contractor.
• Working knowledge of construction contracts, variations, extensions of time and security of payment.
• Confidence to negotiate with subcontractors and judgement to escalate when needed.
• Strong Excel and ERP systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of subcontract packages from award to close-out.
• Handle correspondence, notices, registers and compliance; assess progress claims under BIF Act (Qld).
• Evaluate variations and extensions of time; negotiate outcomes with subcontractors.
• Run subcontract procurement from scope review to award; assess departures from contract terms.
• Ensure scope, rates schedule and head contract align with on-site build; cooperate with engineers and project team.
