Job summary

ConsultANZ is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our client’s team in Sydney, NSW. The role focuses on contract management across civil infrastructure projects, including tunnelling, bridges, and roads.

You will manage subcontractor agreements, review payment claims, and support procurement processes. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying and has 2–4+ years in contract administration.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in engineering or quantity surveying.
• 2–4+ years in contract administration or similar commercial role.
• Strong understanding of contract management and administration processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; Xero and Procore experience welcomed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor agreements and monitor contract performance.
• Review, certify, and process payment claims, variations, and contractual correspondence.
• Draft, negotiate, and finalise contract variations, programs, and service agreements.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies and company standards.
• Build relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
• Identify risks, report issues, and escalate concerns.
• Provide commercial advice to project delivery teams.
• Assist senior management with contract decisions and implementation strategies.
• Support the Procurement Manager as required.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, analyse KPIs, and prepare reports.
• Respond to contract queries and assist with dispute resolution.
• Prepare and submit commercial and operational reports.
