Job summary

Our client, a well-established residential developer in South East Queensland, seeks an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team. You will work with Project Managers and site teams, overseeing procurement, subcontract agreements, cost control and commercial risk management on residential projects.

Responsibilities include managing subcontractor procurement and tender processes, assessing progress claims and variations, maintaining contract documentation, RFIs and EOTs, and reporting

Qualifications

• Contract Administrator with Australian construction industry experience.
• Residential construction experience across apartments, townhouses, mixed-use or large-scale developments.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, contracts, variations and cost control.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

Your new role

Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will be responsible for the commercial management of residential construction projects from procurement through to completion.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within the Australian construction industry.
• Essential: Residential construction experience across apartments, townhouses, mixed-use or large-scale residential developments.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, contracts, variations and cost control.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
