Job summary

My client is an established builder delivering high-quality residential, mixed-use and high-rise projects on the Gold Coast. We are seeking a Contract Administrator to manage the day-to-day commercial delivery on a Surfers Paradise project.

Reporting to the Project Manager and site team, you will oversee contract administration, procurement, cost control and stakeholder management to drive project success through completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction contract administration.
• Experience with reputable head contractor.
• Experience on residential/high-rise/mixed-use projects is advantageous.
• Strong contract, procurement and cost-management knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract administration across the project lifecycle
• Procure and negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements
• Administer variations, progress claims, EOTs and subcontractor packages
• Monitor project costs, forecasts and financial reporting
• Work closely with the Project Manager and site team to resolve commercial and contractual issues
• Assist with procurement and subcontractor management
• Identify and manage commercial risks
• Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company systems, standards and contractual obligations

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Administrator to join a respected builder and play a key role in the commercial delivery of a high-profile project in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established builder and work on a standout project through to completion. Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day commercial management of the project, including contract administration, procurement, cost control and stakeholder management.
