As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and organised Contract Administrator to support the effective administration and management of our client and subcontractor contracts.
About the Role
As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the administrative, commercial and contractual aspects of our service agreements. You will work closely with management, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure contracts are accurately maintained, obligations are met and services are delivered in accordance with agreed terms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develope, review and negotiate variations to contracts.
- Respond to enquiries and resolve issues relating to contracts and service agreements.
- Manage and maintain documentation and paperwork associated with contracts.
- Assist with the negotiation of contract terms with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review, renew and update existing contracts to maintain accurate and current contract information.
- Identify and analyse potential risks associated with specific contract terms and advise management as required.
- Monitor contractual obligations and assist in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, company policies and contractual requirements.
- Stay up to date with relevant legislative and regulatory changes and communicate any impacts to management.
- Interpret and explain contract requirements, terms and conditions to clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to identify and minimize risks and maximize value from contracts.
- Assist with managing contract variations, changes to service requirements and pricing adjustments.
- Review and maintain records relating to service agreements, workbills, invoices and contract variations.
- Assist management with contract-related reports, documentation and commercial matters as required.
About You
- Previous experience in contract administration, contract management, business administration or a related commercial role.
- A strong understanding of contracts, service agreements and commercial processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple contracts, deadlines and priorities.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and general business administration systems.
- The ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential business information.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with management and the wider team.
- Experience within the cleaning, facility management, property services or similar service industry will be highly regarded.
