Job summary

The Real Pet Food Company is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist at our Somersby manufacturing site on the Central Coast. You will drive improvements across three production lines, partnering with Production, Maintenance, QA, Warehouse and Logistics, and site leadership to optimise manufacturing.

You’ll work on a mix of automated and manual processes, tailoring solutions to people and equipment while building buy-in and sustaining change.

Qualifications

Experience delivering Continuous Improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on Lean Manufacturing experience.
Demonstrated change management experience.
Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
Collaborative and consultative approach with operators and teams.

Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement across production lines, applying Lean principles to boost productivity, efficiency, quality and cost performance.
Spend time on the factory floor to observe processes end-to-end and capture opportunities.
Influence stakeholders at all levels to support and adopt new ways of working.
Lead change management from consultation through training and embedding changes.
Map processes and identify critical control points, considering people, equipment and handovers.
Solve problems at the source with root-cause tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).
Support equipment and process optimisation with internal teams and OEMs.
