YOUR ROLE

CEVA Logistics is looking for a driven and focused Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team at Minto, NSW.

Your mission will be to identify process improvements across our finished vehicle logistics business operations and drive both profit improvements and efficiencies.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Work with sites to improve their processes in line with LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Deliver project improvements with focus on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes.
  • Provide guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities and through training, coaching and data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain BPE tools: such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reports.
  • Guide and drive our operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate is tertiary qualified in industrial engineering (or related) and has solid experience gained in a related role in any industry (preference for logistics / supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or related).

Other attributes:

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilising process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean, etc.
  • Clear communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Strong MS Excel skills including use of VLOOKUPS, pivot tables (bonus: VBA, Macros)
  • Bonus: AutoCAD or similar.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check.
