Job summary

The Department of Health, Tasmania, seeks a Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Community Continence Service across Northern Tasmania. You will plan, implement and evaluate patient management plans and provide staff education as required by the northern region.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Desirable: post graduate studies in continence.

• Act as clinical leader in contemporary nursing practice, planning, implementing and evaluating patient management plans.
• Devise, document, implement and review protocols, guidelines and procedures to enhance services.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and support a clinical risk management framework in a community setting.
