Job summary

Place Redcliffe invites a creative Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to join our Scarborough team. You will film, edit and publish short-form videos, design marketing materials in Canva, and manage our social channels across Instagram and other platforms while telling the Place Redcliffe Peninsula story.

Work with our head of marketing to develop ideas, experiment with AI tools, coordinate content requests with agents, and deliver high-quality content on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with Canva and graphic design.
• Short-form video creation and editing.
• Instagram Reels and other social media platforms.
• Filming with a smartphone or DSLR.
• Content planning and social media publishing.
• Property photography or drone experience is a plus.

Content Creator & Social Media Specialist

Place Redcliffe is growing, and we're looking for a creative, motivated, and organised Content Creator and Social Media Specialist to join our Redcliffe Team!

You'll join an experienced, collaborative team culture, working alongside our head of marketing, business owners, sales agents and property management and support teams to bring fresh ideas to life through filming, editing, design and publishing.

You will have hands-on experience in Canva, CapCut and social media to help tell the Place Redcliffe Peninsula story across video, social media, digital and print.

You'll have room to experiment with new ideas, explore AI and creative tools, and create content that makes people stop, watch, connect and remember our Place. You'll also have guidance from our head of marketing to develop your property marketing knowledge and build on your existing creative skills.

The Opportunity

This is a practical, creative role combining short-form video, graphic design and social media management. You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects and see your content make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Filming and editing short-form video content, including property walkthroughs, sold reels and agent videos
• Capturing open home content, office moments and behind-the-scenes footage
• Designing flyers, social media graphics and agent marketing collateral using Canva
• Scheduling and publishing content across social media channels
• Coordinating content requests, feedback and approvals with agents
• Managing marketing deliverables, deadlines and content calendars through Trello
• Supporting office marketing initiatives and ongoing agent campaigns
• Maintaining consistent quality and presentation across all content

The Experience You'll Bring

We're open to both emerging talent and experienced content creators. You don't need years of experience or to be a professional photographer, but you'll need a strong creative eye, a willingness to learn and the confidence to get hands-on.

Ideally, you'll have experience with:

• Canva and graphic design
• Short-form video creation and editing
• Instagram Reels and other social media platforms
• Filming with an iPhone, DSLR or similar camera
• Content planning and social media publishing

Property photography and drone experience will be highly regarded.

You'll also bring:

• Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple projects
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
• Confidence collaborating with different personalities and adapting to feedback
• Attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
• The ability to take a project from the initial idea through to final delivery
