Job summary

RPS, part of the Tetra Tech network, seeks an Environmental Scientist – Contaminated Land in Perth, WA. The role focuses on investigations, assessments and management of contaminated sites within an experienced team, offering growth in fieldwork, sampling, data interpretation and reporting.

You will progress toward greater autonomy, client exposure and project management as you develop in contaminated land expertise.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good technical report writing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in the field and contribute to technical reporting in the office.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking contaminated land and environmental site investigations.
• Planning and participating in fieldwork, site inspections and environmental sampling programs.
• Collecting, managing, analysing and interpreting environmental data.
• Supporting preliminary and detailed site investigations.
• Contributing to the assessment of contamination and environmental risks.
• Assisting with remediation and site management projects.
• Preparing clear, accurate and high-quality technical reports and environmental advice.
• Working with senior technical specialists on complex contaminated land projects.
