Job summary

Lynch Staffing is seeking a Labourer / General Handyman for DP World Container Park in Port Botany, NSW. The role involves inspecting containers for damage, opening and closing heavy doors, and working outdoors in a busy yard.

Training is provided with the potential for permanent employment, and a day shift with overtime opportunities on offer. Pay rate is $43.66 per hour plus superannuation, with ongoing work and a clear path to permanency for reliable candidates who demonstrate safety and

Qualifications

• Previous experience in labouring or handyman work.
• Physically fit to operate heavy container doors and work outdoors.
• Strong WHS/OHS understanding and safe manual handling.
• Reliable attendance and good communication skills.
• Legal right to work in Australia and access to transport to Port Botany.

Responsibilities

• Inspect shipping containers for damage within a busy container yard.
• Open and close heavy container doors to facilitate assessments.
• Work outdoors in a busy operational environment with safety focus.
• Follow instructions and maintain a strong work ethic and attendance.
