Qualifications

About the role

The Recruitment Officer is a call centre-based role that involves speaking with people interested in potentially taking part in clinical trials and supporting their potential enrolment into studies.

There are multiple ongoing casual positions, this is an onsite role with a shift pattern between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm Monday to Friday, and 9:00am - 5:00pm on weekends.

We are seeking candidates with experience in call centres, healthcare customer service, patient-facing roles or healthcare administration, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within clinical research, with clear development pathways and progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Handling inbound and outbound calls with potential participants
• Assisting eligible participants by conducting phone screening questionnaires based on the clinical studies requirements
• Inbound and outbound calls – up to 40 + calls per day
• Selecting trials for participants based on eligibility criteria
• Build excellent rapport with existing and new participants
• Booking appointments and updating the participant database

Requirements

• Must have 6 months experience in a call centre environment or similar
• Medical research/clinical operations experience would be advantageous
• Must have excellent time management skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently and effectively in a team
• Maintain a professional level of confidentiality
• Meet set targets and KPI’s
