Job summary

JPS Executive Search & Selection Pty Ltd is seeking Consultant Psychiatrists for roles across General Adult and Inpatient Services, Community Mental Health, Emergency Department and Mental Health Emergency Centre in a Perth Hospital and Health Service.

The psychiatrist will lead, teach and supervise teams, oversee training for doctors in training and other health professionals, and focus on patient safety and high-quality care within a premier teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• AHPRA-registered Psychiatry Specialists (FRANZCP) or eligible RANZCP trainees in final 6 months.
• Substantially comparable RANZCP International Medical Graduates may be considered.
• Proven ability to provide leadership, teaching and supervision in medical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, orientation, supervision and education for doctors in training and health professionals.
• Ensure patient safety and quality of care across adult and inpatient services.
• Contribute to service development and multi-disciplinary collaboration within the Mental Health Division.
