Job summary

MedRecruit Limited seeks a locum doctor to cover a public hospital in Rockhampton from 16 November 2026 to 31 January 2027. Shifts run 07:30–18:00 with on-call duties after hours on weekdays and weekends.

You must hold AHPRA medical registration with FANZCA, and a provisional fellow will be considered. Travel and accommodation are provided, with rates inclusive of superannuation and taxes.

Qualifications

• Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• FANZCA is required.
• Provisional Fellow will be considered for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum coverage for the public hospital during the specified period.
• Assume on-call duties as scheduled (weekdays and weekends).
• Deliver patient-centred care with high professional standards.
