Job summary
Medii seeks an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist (FANZCA) to join a major tertiary teaching hospital in Darwin, Northern Territory. Deliver specialist anaesthesia and perioperative care to patients across the Top End of Australia.
Working with an experienced team, you will provide high‑quality services across a broad range of surgical specialties and participate in on‑call rosters, teaching, governance and research. Relocation assistance and competitive remuneration are offered.
Qualifications
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent.
- AHPRA specialist registration or eligibility to obtain it.
- Broad clinical experience in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine.
- Commitment to patient safety and ongoing improvement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist anaesthesia, acute pain and perioperative care.
- Provide anaesthetic services across diverse surgical specialties.
- Participate in emergency and after-hours on-call rosters.
- Contribute to education, supervision and professional development of staff.
- Engage in clinical governance, research and quality improvement.
- Support service development and safe patient care.
