About Us

Abergeldie is a majority locally owned contractor with 30 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. The complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking Civil Construction Workers to join our team. With our wide range of services, the role offers plenty of variety and exposure across different projects. Responsibilities will include general labouring such as site preparation and on-site support, along with cleaning and assessments, pipe lining, robotic cutting, junction cut and seal, and flow management. You’ll also be involved in associated civils, including manhole and pit alterations with rehabilitation works such as applying protective coatings.

Our office is based in Tullamarine, with project sites across the Northern and Eastern suburbs.

What you will bring to the team
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Construction Induction Card (White card)
  • A strong focus on safety and basic mechanical knowledge
  • Excavator experience
  • HR or MR licence and Confined Space Entry Ticket
  • Working at Heights licences are desirable but not essential.
  • Pipe maintenance experience such as cleaning, pipe lining, CCTV or plumbing
  • We are also open to those without experience looking tobreak into the industry and gain hands-on experience.

To make sure that you’re fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol test. Please be aware that these roles will require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
