Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty Ltd in Melbourne, Victoria, is seeking a Construction Verification Officer for a major metropolitan road upgrade. The role involves independent checks against approved designs, quality standards, and strict site conformity.

You will perform routine surveillance, inspect materials and workmanship, maintain logs, and escalate any defects. Strong drawing interpretation and clear written communication with site teams and clients are essential.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of client standards, specifications and quality-management requirements.
• Experience preparing, applying and reviewing inspection and test plans and testing requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong written communication and effective relationships with site teams, clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine surveillance and formal inspections at designated hold and witness points.

The Opportunity

Independently check civil construction work against approved designs and quality standards on a major metropolitan road upgrade.
