Transgrid is seeking a Construction Team Manager to lead teams of Construction Electricians, Construction Managers, Site Managers and Senior Site Managers across NSW and ACT. You will focus on people leadership, performance, capability uplift and operational alignment to deliver safe, efficient construction outcomes.
You will coordinate resources, coach teams, manage progress and align with engineering and commissioning stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery across sites.
At Transgrid, we play a crucial role in delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable energy to millions of Australians. Operating over 13,000 km of high-voltage transmission lines and 128 substations across NSW and the ACT, we connect electricity generators to the distribution network, powering homes, businesses, and communities.
As a Construction Team Manager, you'll lead teams of Construction Electricians, Construction Managers, Site Managers and Senior Site Managers across multiple locations. Your focus will be on people leadership, performance, capability uplift and operational alignment, ensuring our construction workforce is supported to deliver safely, efficiently and consistently.
As a Construction Team Manager, you play a pivotal role in enabling the successful delivery of substation and transmission construction projects across the state.
Your days are centred on leading, coordinating and supporting construction resources, ensuring teams are appropriately planned, capable and performing at their best. You'll work closely with the Construction Delivery Manager and broader project teams to balance competing priorities, respond to changing delivery demands and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, cost and schedule outcomes.
You are an experienced construction leader who understands the complexity of delivering large-scale infrastructure in a highly regulated environment. You bring a balance of operational discipline and people-centred leadership, with the ability to coordinate resources, manage performance and support teams through changing priorities.
You're comfortable working across multiple projects and locations, and you take pride in creating structure, clarity and consistency for your teams.
Our core values, Safety, Achievement, Integrity and Service shape how we work every day. We prioritise safety, strive for meaningful impact, act with honesty, and deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers and communities.
