Job summary

Spry Civil Construction Pty is seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor to join our team in South Australia. You will work with Project Manager, Supervisors and site crews to set out civil works, gather survey data and support construction through all stages.

You will perform site surveys (topographic, as-built, control), manage survey data, and communicate findings to engineers. A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Surveying is required, and familiarity with Trimble equipment is an asset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Surveying or equivalent recognised in Australia.
• Experience with civil construction surveying and site set-out.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and plans.

Responsibilities

• Undertake site set-out for civil projects including roads, drainage and earthworks.
• Perform topographic, as-built and post-pour surveys as required.
• Prepare and manage survey data using industry-standard software.
• Liaise with Project Managers and Engineers on survey requirements.
• Operate GPS, robotic total stations and survey software; maintain data quality.
• Create machine files and DXF/CSV data for machine control and modelling.
• Monitor construction tolerances and assist with QA checks.
