Job summary

Total Surveying Solutions in Port Melbourne, VIC is seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor to lead diverse construction and infrastructure projects. You’ll manage your own projects end-to-end, using modern Leica, Trimble and GPS gear, with a supportive team and growth opportunities.

The role emphasises ownership, client liaison, and delivering precise survey information to construction teams, supported by BricsCAD and 12D software. Melbourne-based, long-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in construction surveying.
• Experience with construction set-out and QA surveys.
• Knowledge of Leica/Trimble or similar equipment.
• BricsCAD and 12D experience.
• A current Australian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own construction and civil projects from start to finish.
• Conduct construction set-out surveys and QA/as-constructed surveys.
• Oversee site establishment and control and process survey data.
• Utilise 12D software for data processing and coordination.
• Liaise with clients and coordinate project activities.

At TSS Total Surveying Solutions Victoria, we're continuing to grow our team and are looking for an experienced Construction Surveyor to help deliver a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects.

The Role

You’ll manage your own projects from start to finish across a variety of construction and civil projects.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Construction set-out surveys
• QA and as-constructed surveys
• Site establishment and control
• Survey data processing
• Using 12D software
• Client liaison and project coordination
• Delivering accurate survey information to construction teams
• Using Leica, Trimble, BricsCAD and GNSS technology

This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and delivering quality outcomes.

About You

You’ll ideally have:

Around 3+ years’ experience in construction surveying

Experience with construction set-out and QA surveys

Strong knowledge of Leica, Trimble or similar equipment

BricsCAD and 12D experience

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A current Australian Driver Licence

Pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
