Job summary

UGL is recruiting for a construction supervision role in Melbourne, focusing on fuel terminals, bulk storage and pipelines. Hybrid work is available with 1–2 days from home per week, and a strong safety culture is expected on site.

Ideal candidates will have a trade qualification or substantial experience in industrial environments, plus ability to read drawings and manage contractors to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or demonstrated supervision experience in industrial, energy or infrastructure environments.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Ability to manage contractors and ensure safe delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction activities across terminals, storage facilities and pipelines.
• Coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, equipment and materials to hit milestones.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specs, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor progress, productivity and workforce performance; resolve delivery issues.
• Promote a strong safety culture with planning, risk management and permits.
