Job summary

Fetch Mining Services is seeking 2x Experienced Construction Supervisors for a long-term camp demobilisation and construction project in Western Australia, commencing ASAP. Roles start on site within 2-3 weeks for a long-term project.

Mine site experience is essential; only applicants residing in Perth/WA will be considered, with flights from Perth. You will manage subcontractors and coordinate crane crew and mobile plant to meet project targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supervising construction crews in WA, including at least 2 years on mine sites.
• Experience dismantling and re-erecting modular or transportable buildings.
• Read and interpret construction drawings to set buildings out from drawings.
• Experience coordinating trades, subcontractors, mobile plant and crane operations.
• Must pass a full pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening.
• Full Australian Working Rights - no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Demobilise mine site camp and coordinate re-erection on a new site.
• Plan dismantle sequence, isolate services and tag components.
• Coordinate crane, mobile plant and subcontractors to meet targets.
• Read drawings and set out buildings from drawings.
• Ensure quality documentation including ITPs, NCRs, and TQs.

Due to an exciting new project from one of our key clients - Fetch Mining Services are seeking 2x Experienced Construction Supervisor for a long term camp demobilisation and construction project in WA commencing ASAP. These roles will be starting on site within the next 2-3 weeks for a longterm project. Our client also has a number of refurb projects and camp constructionprojects in the pipeline.

Mine site experience will be essential for this role - at this stage we will only be able to consider applicants residing in Perth / WA with flights only offered from Perth for this project.

About The Project / Role / Duties

• Mine Site Camp Demobilisationand Construction Projects
• Demobilising Mine Site Camp in Southern WA and mobilising / construction on new site
• Plan and run dismantle sequence at Mine site Camp, strip-out, tie-down release, service disconnection, component tagging, protective wrapping, load-out and restraint
• Plan and run the re-erect and fit-out sequence at new site, set-out from drawings, pier packing, cyclone tie-downs, re-sheeting, sealing and internal fit-out.
• Sequence mobile plant, cranage and transport
• Manage subcontractors (Plumbing, Electrical and Crane Crew) and ensure targets are met.

Experience / Qualifications Required

• Section 26 Supervisor mandatory. Candidates must hold this prior to site access.
• Ability to use initiative and lead a team in an autonomousrole
• Construction Induction / White Card.
• Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence minimum
• Minimum 5 years supervising construction crews in WA, including at least 2 years on mine sites.
• Experience dismantling and re-erecting modular or transportable buildings, including the full dismantle/re-erection cycle rather than new installations only.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and set buildings out from drawings.
• Strong experience coordinating trades, subcontractors, mobile plant, cranage and construction activities.
• Experience with ITPs, hold points, NCRs, TQs and construction quality documentation.
• Ability to pass a full pre employment medical with lab drug and alcohol
• Full Australian Working Rights - no sponsorship
• Will need 2 recent contactable references
• Cert IV WHS or Building & Construction is well regarded
