Job summary

Harmony is seeking a hands-on Supervisor for a site-based role in the Eva Copper Mine project in North West Queensland. The position covers heavy civils and bulk earthworks within a major tailings storage facility program, with DIDO from Brisbane or Townsville and a 14/7 roster. Local candidates are prioritized.

You will supervise contractors and owner teams, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence while coordinating with engineering, safety and environmental teams on site.

The Eva Copper Mine is a significant and strategically important project for Harmony marking a major milestone in the company's copper growth strategy and its long-term commitment to Northwest Queensland. The mine will have a minimum life of 15 years and will involve mining multiple open cut pits providing copper bearing ore to a concentrator. Front-end engineering design is complete, and mine construction is expected to take up to 30 months with first production targeted for the second half of the 2028 calendar year.

You will work closely with contractors and project teams to ensure construction, safety, quality, program and environmental requirements are met on site.

You will work closely with contractors and project teams to ensure construction, safety, quality, program and environmental requirements are met on site.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Supervising activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, standards and statutory requirements.
• Developing and managing daily work plans and monitoring progress against time, cost and quality targets.
• Acting as the key point of contact for contractors and the owner's team on technical issues and site queries.
• Preparing and maintaining safe work practices and on-site documentation.
• Liaising and supporting project teams to support efficient delivery and maintaining program.

This role suits a hands-on Supervisor who thrives in a site environment and enjoys turning plans into safe, high-quality outcomes.

This role will be DIDO from local communities or FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville to our site in Cloncurry NW QLD, with local candidates highly regarded. Local employees are paid a regional allowance and a competitive salary. Roster is 14 days on, 7 days off.

Please note: this is a maximum term role aligned with the project completion and close out.
